Are there any half-decent torrent web clients to try, other than Torrent Relay?

What about normal torrent clients with web interfaces? You could open a port on your router and still access the interface from anywhere. I use Transmission.

utorrent runs well off a flash drive, which may be another possibility.

Not exactly what you are looking for but this firefox extention lets you download torrents directly through the browser.

Bitlet seems to be similar.
And while not being exactly the same thing but you might want to consider TorrentFlux and all of the web interfaces to the text-mode client rtorrent.
