Name the video game with One-Two-ThreeEE!

Name-that-ancient-video-game-filter: Which game had a somewhat synthesized voice saying "One...Two...threeeEEEE!"

It may or may not have been wrestling related, but I'm pretty sure it was a referee. The sound was heavily compressed (but not quite as bad as "Double Dribble's" splash screen.) Could have been any era from NES to present. It's not 'Pro Wrestling' for NES.

The voice pitched-up at the end of "ThreeeEE"... not like a question, but more like someone saying "Whee!" while excited.

Yeah, either wrestling or boxing. Ring King maybe? I vaguely recall the sound you're talking about, and I know we had a copy of Ring King back when the original NES was out. Maybe there are YouTube clips with the KO sound so you could tell if this is the one.

Best answer: I'm pretty sure Mat Mania had that crazy referee sound. I used to play that game like crazy in the arcades. I can't watch youtube videos at work, but here are some that may (or may not) confirm my memory.

I totally remember hearing this. I thought it was NES Pro Wrestling, but at the end of that clip the count just goes "meep meep meep". I instantly thought of a laundromat when I read "One...Twoooo, ThreeeeEEEEEE", so I think it was at one point an arcade version. Mat Mania sounds right.

Best answer: How about Tag Team Wrestling?

Bonus trivia- this is where Strong Bad and Strong Mad of Homestarrunner fame are from.

There was another version of Mat Mania called Mania Challenge. Basically the same game, but there was a second control stick for head to head matches. However, there were only 3 NPCs (Insane Warrior, Golden Hulk and Hurricane Joe)
