Are there any resources in Chicago for meeting people who have moved from another country?

I'd check out if there are any groups on meetup.com for either specific language/cultural groups or general "internationals get together" groups. Philly definitely has multiple such meetup groups.

also, groups that feature language exchange or getting together for English conversation. These can be found on meetup.com also.

Try contacting the Sister Cities program. They may know of resources.

You might have some luck with the weekly Chicago Couchsurfing meetups.
