Best place to buy consumer electronics and accessories in (central) Amsterdam?

My company will have a new booth at a trade show at the RAI Center in a few weeks, and I need a "Radio Shack"-like place, preferably within walking/tram distance where I can make last-minute purchases of AC/audio/video cables/adapters/media etc. if needed. There's no actual Radio Shack within a reasonable distance. Any recommendations?

Best answer: The shop formerly known as Zwolsman is the best in town.
Google maps will show you the way.

Best answer: There's Raf, though you may want to call ahead to check whether they have what you need. They're a cluster of different shops all selling different types of consumer electronics, and by tram (number 4, I think) they're just a few stops away.

Best answer: If you need some custom made stuff quickly, you could also give Hecke a shot. It looks like a run down store for cable dudes, but these guys know what they're talking about. And they will probably love to help you solve cross continental cable problems. Meanwhile, if you bike a block from Hecke, you are at what has to pass as the Amsterdam computer alley. There's cable's galore at Paradigit, MyCom, Computerland etc. They sell lots of audio video cables too. Too bad you didn't ask about some really good places to eat around there. And take note, I wrote bike.
