Quartz floor tiles?

Has anyone installed quartz tiles on their bathroom/kitchen floors? Were you happy with the results?

I currently have polished marble tiles in my bathrooms installed by the former owner--which I didn't realize weren't sealed. I'd like a rougher surface, but the company sites I've found don't give much info about alternatives.

What type of quartz tiles are you talking about? Most of the quartz tiles I've seen have been polished which sounds like what you don't want. If you're considering tiles with a rough surface, keep in mind that it will be more difficult to keep clean than something very smooth. Quartz is harder than marble so you should have fewer issues with staining.

Response by poster: Engineered quartz, like Silestone.

Response by poster: I guess I'll ask one of the companies if they would send me an inch square sample.
