Atom Python Library

Is there an Atom or (better yet) AtomPub library for Python?

This would save me loads of API XML design time if I can just reuse the Atom infrastructure.

Googling 'atom library python' gave me a bunch of results, including the GData library for Atom for Python and Demokritos.

Did you not find something you liked on the front page of results?

Response by poster: Gdata-client is definitely not I want - I need an Atom feed/AtomPub collection feed generator, not a feed consumer.

Demokritos looks interesting, but doesn't implement the final AtomPub standard. django-atompub is tied down to Django

the atom.py module in Django can be used independently of Django.

See this.
