What is this mystery item from my toolbox?

Are the white things ceramic? It might be some sort of standoff. Another possibility might be insulators for old fashioned knob and tube wiring.

Response by poster: Grill sparker seems feasible.
Could be ceramic. More likely hard plastic.

It sure looks like one of these devices. Maybe from a grill or any number of gas fired appliances.

looks like electrodes from an oil burner
basically the same as a grill sparker, but they are usually single wire-thingied.
