Sometimes, if you don't hide stuff, nobody notices. I read that in an American book.

What is the name of the song that plays in "Band of Outsiders" during the famous dancing scene, and where can I download/buy it?

As per the Youtube comments, depending on which version you mean it's either Le Madison by Michel LeGrand or Dance with Me by Nouvelle Vague.

Best answer: Yeah, if you mean the original song in the film itself, I don't think it's available to buy. Legrand wrote the tune specifically for the film I believe.

Apparently the OST has never been released neither is the track on any Michel Legrand compilation. It may well be possible to download the clip and strip the soundtrack off it. There are many versions of the same tune by other artists. Search for The Madison, Do The Madison, Madison Time, Le Madison, Madison Party etc.

Response by poster: Thanks for the ideas.

I don't want to just rip the audio from the scene, because the music occasionally cuts out so that the narrator can describe the thoughts of the characters.
