In Search Of Pork Chop Guy

Help me find an editorial-type cartoon of RAGBRAI's Pork Chop Guy!

I saw a single-panel editorial-type cartoon a while ago that went with a story on RAGBRAI, the Register Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa. One of the perennial features of this race/ride is Pork Chop Guy, a guy who sells pork chops, and announces his presence by yelling PORK CHOP.

The cartoon in question was of Pork Chop Guy, with a grill fork in his hand, yelling PORK CHOOOOOOOOOOOOP. In my mind, it looks somewhat Bloom Countyish, a bit like Bill The Cat. As simple as this is, I've been completely unable to track this piece of art down, and I'm enlisting your help.

The actual art's creation timeframe is unknown, but I feel safe saying that I saw the art sometime between 2002 and 2007.

Response by poster: ...and, apparently, he's called Mr. Pork Chop, not Pork Chop Guy. Memory, you fickle bastard.

Still need the help, though: even with the right name, no luck.

The editorial cartoonist for the Des Moines Register is named Brian Duffy. He drew your comic, but the archives seem to be mostly empty. His email address is on the page I linked, though.

Brian Duffy no longer works at The Des Moines Register. He's a great guy, but was let go during the last round of layoffs.

I do currently work there though (his office was 20 feet from mine).

I will be DMing you with more information.
