Windows 7: Is there any way to mount ext3/ext2 partitions in Windows 7? I would use Ext2 IFS but it's not compatible with the beta.

did you try installing Ext2 IFS via rightclick => compatibility mode? I got most drivers / applications to work with that.

What about ex2fsd? A month or so ago, I was able to use it from XP - no idea if it'll work from 7, though

I think 7 has problems with add-on filesystems- I know it doesn't play well with Daemon Tools.

Despite that, I'm still downloading the beta.

Response by poster: I tried both of the first two ideas and neither worked. The beta is really great, stable, and fast. I just wish I could mount my other drives...

I am using PowerISO on Win7 for the virtual CD ROM and its working fine (although it does take a few seconds of pause to load/unload etc).

btw: Love Windows7 so far :)
