Brown Chase Movie!

Help me remember this movie.... man being chased the whole film, then returns to work.

That's about all I have, unfortunately. The whole movie is about him being chased and attempts on his life, and at the end, he loses them, finds himself back at work, and just goes in.

And the whole movie is really brown. does that make sense? It's like it's shot in sepia, with all brown clothing and sets.

Best answer: I don't know about the brownness, but the plot sounds like After Hours to me.

Huh - this is one of those movies whose poster put me right off seeing it, figuring it was a typical 80s screwball flick. I had no idea it was a Scorsese movie.

Great, great movie, very picaresque, very not-what-you'd-expect-from-this-type-of-film. It's in regular old color, but the nighttime settings and the seamy new york back alley scenes could easily give you a "noir" color memory. Griffin Dunne is excellent as the hapless protagonist, and Rosanna Arquette set me up for a couple of very difficult relationships based on loving her character so damn much.

It's also got Teri Garr and Catherine O'Hara in it, fer crissakes!

Really a must-see.
