What should I do in Toronto on New Years Eve?

What's going on in Toronto on New Year's Eve and is there any possibility I'll be able to get a last minute reservation at a nice restaurant?

Pretty self explanatory question. I haven't done any research and am going to try to make some last minute plans. Any ideas and suggestions are welcome.

Response by poster: I made a reservation at Splendido. So, just ignore the second part of my question. There are quite a few places with some availability, at limited times.

NOW magazine has a big listing of events, but it doesn't give much detail. What kinds of events are of interest to you?
