Gyn walk-in clinic in NYC or nearby?

Does anyone know of a clinic with a gyn doctor where my gf can get an appointment or walk-in today (Saturday)? We're currently in Manhattan, but have a car so we can travel to any borough, NJ, etc. If this information is relevant: The issue is that "something doesn't feel right," e.g., pain during penetration.

many planned parenthood clinics have weekend hours, if it's an emergency they will most likely do what they can to see her today.

While pain during penetration sucks, this is definitely not an emergency (ie, if it hurts when you do that...don't do it for a bit). It would be better if she can wait and see her regular doctor so this issue winds up in her permanent medical chart.

IANAD, but I am a woman who's had this problem before and that's what I was told and what I did.

If the the pain only occurs during penetration (ie she is not spending her day walking around in pain) then I would avoid attempting to see someone today and do what peanut_mcgillicuty said (schedule an appt with her usual healthcare provider). Trying to get in someplace today will likely mean a lot of sitting around waiting. Pain during penetration could be from a number of things, most of which are incredibly common and in most cases not life/health threatening. Perhaps it will help to reassure her of this.

Response by poster: Thanks folks. Yeah, we didn't think it was an emergency...just that if she needed to do anything to start the healing process (medication, etc), we'd rather get it started sooner than later. In the end, we made an appt with her gyn for Monday, so it will be fine.
