Things to do near Avondale Estates (Hot lanta)?
Anything fun to do for a family of 4 near Avondale Estates? We're in town for thanksgiving and would like to find fun stuff to do.

The DeKalb Farmers Market is worth a visit if you are not already overfed. They have great seafood and a lot of ethnic foods.

The DeKalb Farmer's Market is definitely worth a trip. Lots of icky and squicky things for kids to point at and squeal.
Head to Decatur and just wander around the downtown area. Get the kids hot chocolate at Java Monkey.
IIRC, there are some neat little artist studios/galleries/antique shops on East Ponce as you head towards Clarkston.
And, of course, there's always Stone Mountain, which is great if you enjoy having your jaw drop in amused horror.

I came in here to say the Dekalb Farmer's Market, but it looks like I've been beaten to the punch... twice.
