Is there anywhere I can buy khadi cloth in the US, esp. NYC or Atlanta?

I've never heard of khadi cloth before today, but I am intrigued. In NYC, you could try the Garment District and Jackson Heights. Sari Palace in Jackson Heights might have khadi cloth or they may be able to help you find a place that carries it.

On either 39th or 40th street in the Garment district (btw 7th & 8th avenues), there is a strip of stores on the south side of the street specializing in silks, and at least one store specializing in hand woven linens. The shops are highly specialized, and when I was shopping for silk duopioni the shopkeepers were very helpful. If they don't carry khadi cloth, they would probably be able to direct you to a shop that does.

In Atlanta, there is a shopping center with an Indian Grocery Store and several restaurants that also has (had?) a shop selling nothing but Indian fabrics. The Queen of Sheba Ethiopian Restaurant was in the same shopping center and its address is listed as 1594 Woodcliff Dr NE. Sorry I can't be more specific, but seems like a good place to start.
