I'm looking for blogs where someone did a personal project online for a year and/or it got some notoriety.
Examples I can think of:
* Jonathan Coulton's year of songs, of course
* That Julie/Julia Child blog that became a book
* Living Oprah.

"fiftyRX3 was a project in style and sustainability. It consisted of a photo documentary of what I wore everyday for a year with a goal of averaging fifty percent sustainability based on the environmental mantra 'reuse, reduce, recycle'."
Not sure how famous she got, but she does have a press section.

These people ate a sum total of $1 of food every day for only a month, but good lord, they only ate $1 of food every day for a month! Notoriety.

Thiel on Livejournal has been doing this for a while now.

Jess Thomson at hogwash wrote a recipe a day for a year (2007). I don't know about notoriety, but I was entranced for 365 days.

Brotherhood 2.0 It inspired many other year-long online projects which have enjoyed varying success, but the original is the most bloggy in my opinion.
