502 error in Firefox

Firefox 3.0 502 error.

Firefox 3.x, XP, "No proxy" in connection/settings
When I attempt to connect to the Aeroplan site I get a 502 error:
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /home.do.

Reason: Error reading from remote server

I can connect using IE6 on this computer or using Firefox on another (home) network computer. I'm not using a proxy server. I've searched Mozilla forums with no success so far

I don't know why you're getting it on only the one computer but it sounds like an error that's actually coming from the aeroplan site. The .do file extension is for a java-related file for web servers so this would seem to indicate that the web server is having trouble getting the java file for the site's home page from another server.

Do you have any java-blocking addons installed in Firefox? Do you have java and javascript enabled?

Response by poster: Javascript and Java are enabled. I reinstalled FF3.x and JVM to no avail

Response by poster: **RESOLVED**

A corrupt cookie. I deleted the cookie from Aeroplan, and All's fine now. Thanks for the answers
