Robert Smith of The Cure, or Robert Smith of the Minnesota Vikings? I don't have a good answer with either one, just wanted to clarify.

Best answer: The official biography of the band's first decade, Ten Imaginary Years, is probably as good as you're going to get for the period 1978-1988. The last 20 years are still unaccounted for.

I think Ten Imaginary Years is the book I was thinking of. I will have to check my shelves when I get home. I have a few Cure books, but none of them specifically a bio of Robert.
