What's This Floor?

Bought a Milwaukee home that was built in the mid 1930's. What are my bathroom floors made out of?
Probably asbestos tile. But a little more information might get better answers.

Wow. That takes me back. That's exactly the same flooring my old highschool used. :-)
I doubt it's made of asbestos, but then again, that school did get away with leaving asbestos in the ceiling.
The cracks in that stuff at my school made me think it was nicely set stone in concrete, ground flat and glazed somehow.

That is indeed terrazzo.
Very common in older Florida homes. I had some in my old house.

That's a mighty fine floor. Terrazzo should be used more often.
