How to publicy praise my doctor for future patients?

I live in Ontario. I'd like to write to some government body praising my oral surgeon, who is so amazing it should be on record somewhere for anyone researching him in the future. Should I do this, and who should I send the letter to? He's DDS, MD, FRCD(C), Dip. ABOMS.

Best answer: The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario would be a good place to start. From their website:
The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) is the governing body for dentists in Ontario. Our mission is to protect the public’s right to quality dental services by providing leadership to the dental profession in self-regulation. ... [The dentists in Ontario] are committed to ensuring that the public receives high-quality, ethical care.
Every dentist in Ontario is registered with them, and they're the body that deals with complaints and investigations, as well as awards and continuing education about best practices and policies. They're currently developing a section on their website for people searching for a dentist, so you might inquire if you will be able to leave a good rating for your surgeon.

The other idea would be to actually make a post online talking about him and why you found him so amazing. I know that I tend to google doctors before I start digging into any specialist databases like the one heatherann mentioned. So if you have a blog or another public outlet somewhere that would show up in Google, that would be a good place to start too. That's less useful if his name is very common, but if you make sure to use good keywords when you write about him (for his specialty, for example), that would be a good start as well.

Hope you feel better soon!
