What kind of shoes does Hugh Laurie (House MD) wear in Season 3, when he's on the skateboard? (shown in this screencap)

I've started watching House MD, and for some reason, I really want the shoes that Hugh Laurie wears in the season opener of season 3.

They are Nikes, obviously. I've googled, looked at Nike's site, etc, etc. The show was first aired in Sep 2006, so presumably they were available in early 2006.

They could be NikeiD, and were picked from custom colors. I haven't found the exact model that appears to match.

Any ideas?

Actually, they look a lot like fairly standard sketchers to me. (The sole is identical to any number of sketchers I've had over the years.)

I agree with oddman, I don't think they're Nikes. The 'swoosh' doesn't end, it wraps around to the heel and, presumably, around to the other side.

Best answer: Shoe collector boyfriend says they're Nike Court Force Lows, from around 2006 or 2007. Here's a picture of the type of shoe, in a different colorway.

Unfortunately he thinks you're not going to have much luck finding that colorway unless there happens to be a pair on Ebay. You might have better luck just making an approximation of it with NikeiD now that you know the make.
