EMail them and ask?

Yes I believe it's called eBay. At least that's where one finds Grados in North Dakota.

You won't go wrong with the SR-80s, but definitely look at aftermarket ear cushions. They're not the most comfortable cans for extended wear, and softer cushions help quite a bit.

fff - I have e-mailed them the same question about availability in my area and never got a useful response. So the answer isn't that easy, unfortunately.

PS: does anyone know where to find them in Nashville?

I bought mine (sr80s) while on a trip to San Francisco after not being able to find them in Portland for a week of casually looking. I hate paying tax though. Do post if you find them in town.

If you get up to Seattle, I know Magnolia Hi-Fi has them, but not at all stores. (I have SR-225s, which I bought there.)

In my experience all of the Hi-Fi stores in my small hometown carried them, so I can't imagine there not being at least one retailer carrying them where you live.

I bought a new pair of sennheiser's on eBay. I can't recommend the eBay option enough.

BTW, I found the Fred's link above (which is a hi-fi store in Portland and which claims to carry Grado) using a Google search of "Grado Oregon." Not that hard, really...
