What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

Back in the old, old days, when mp3s were distributed via http, there were huge archives of linked mp3s. I used to run the website www.unexpected.com. I was in 7th grade! Needless to say, my parents were less than thrilled when we got the RIAA notice, and now I don't even have the name :-(.

That was pretty much my initiation into the Internet- right around 1996-1997. AOL was still $3.50 an hour. People were debating between WinAMP and Sonique and NAD.
