What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
The story of my nickname's not very interesting. I'd rather put the following out there (hat tip to tkchrist):
I am neurotypical, classist, size-ist, able-ist, heterosexist, cisgenderist, racist, age-ist, and sexist. I'll add more as I remember or become conscious of them. Please call me on any -ist remarks you witness me making here. I'd appreciate politeness and compassion when you do, but hey, I also understand the vehemence that comes from having a nerve touched or a scab ripped off.
