Friends visiting me in Nashville want to spend a day frolicking in nature while they're here. I'm embarrassed to say that I don't know much about the parks around my own hometown. Where should I take them?

Cape May, NJ filter: We're visiting Cape May for the first time this Thurs-Sun for our fifth wedding anniversary. We were hoping to make this a beach/pool trip, but unfortunately, the weather
looks pretty miserable. Any suggestions on activities/locations in the area that we can enjoy despite the rain? Restaurant suggestions also appreciated.

My sister is traveling to New Jersey in a week or so. She has this question: Myself and two others traveling by bus later this month and we have an 11 hour layover in Chicago, starting at about 5 in the morning on Tuesday. So I was wondering if there is anything really interesting to do while in Chicago for that time that is very inexpensive (Perhaps less than $5.) or free. (Free is always good. :) )

Want to know about how long (and how bearable) it would be commuting from Jersey City, NJ to Somerset, NJ 5 days a week for work. Has anyone done it? Any thoughts on how 'sustainable' a commute it is?
I am mostly concerned with the day-after-day effects of driving this distance. My commute now is via subway and is about 30 minutes each way, including walking.

I have to travel from/to the Metropark station on a weekday. I'll be taking the first train out in the morning, late arrival in the evening. I'd prefer not to bill client for car service but do not have other rides available at these fringe hours, which leaves only the parking lot option. Will I find a spot at 5:00AM? Will it be safe to walk back to my car at 10:00PM?

I'm on the North East Corridor line in central New Jersey and I've got a new bike. It folds up. I'd like to take it away for 4-7 days of cycling in the second half of March. Where can I go that's within a half day's journey on public transport?

I am looking to visit Cape May, NJ, with my longtime girlfriend. I am going to be proposing to her and I want to know if it is advisable to plan a visit during March (The only time that works for us). We're not necessarily looking to go swimming, but I'd like to be sure that there are still nice, romantic things we can see and do. Any advice about the weather and the sights in the area would be appreciated. I'm also open to suggestions about alternate destinations in the Philadelphia area. Thanks!
