How is it that people can post videos of illegal acts onto YouTube and they can't be found? I remember watching a video where someone has a camera mounted on the front of their motorcycle and they thread through traffic at insane speeds. I always thought that there would be some electronic trail the cops could follow.

I'm a girl with very fine, very straight, waist-length hair and for the past few weeks I've been abiding by a self-imposed rule where I do not wear it the same way two days in a row. I'm looking for ideas for hair-styles and, preferably, links to videos that explain how to do them.

Can anyone identify the song in the background of
this video? A colleague of mine is curious, and we can't find an exact match.
I told him that someone here would get it in less than an hour. And your time starts....now!

I'm trying to find out:
a) is the song copyrighted?
b) who owns it?
c) will they let me use it? (is this a pipe dream?)
The song is Ice Pick Mike by Lalo Schifrin, and it's on the soundtrack to Bullitt. Totally groovin', BTW. :)

I remember a year ago this strange, japanese video on youtube that featured mega man dying. It was all him dying of the stupidest things, all the ways you can die and some stuff added from the "otaku" scene or whatever.

When I favourite a video on YouTube, it turns up in my Facebook feed. Same with Last.fm - when I favourite a track, all my Facebook friends can see. Apparently at some point I synchronised Facebook with YouTube and Last.fm. The problem is, I don't know how I synchronised the accounts, so I can't replicate it or show anyone else how to do it for themselves. Can anyone advise?

I produce a YouTube show about media literacy/criticism. Right now we post weekly, on a schedule which is driving me insane. Does frequency of publishing new content matter (whether it's for a blog, a podcast, a comic, etc) so long as you publish regularly? Could I do it every other week or monthly without losing people's attention? And what do you suggest doing to help make up for less-frequent publishing?

I would like to take a given RSS feed (e.g. MetaFilter's feed), and create a derivative feed containing only the items with YouTube links in the content, with the destination URLs changed to the YouTube links (rather than the source of those links). Does something like this already exist? If not, what's the simplest way to create it? I can write code if necessary, but would rather not if there's an alternative.
