I made a long video, and I need to break it into ten-minute-long chunks, so that I can post it to YouTube. I would LOVE some app that let's me batch process this task. I want to start it running in the morning and come home at night to find a whole bunch of ten-minute-long videos on my desktop. I'm using an Intel Mac. I'm willing to buy an app if I have to.

Looking for a way to convert an Animated GIF to a format suitable for uploading to YouTube, while also preserving the blocky pixel nature of the GIF. I would prefer something free that works on a Mac, but any suggestions that are cheap for mac or windows would be appreciated. [more inside]

The latest versions of Firefox and Safari that can run on my Mac Intel G4 tower (OS X 10.4.11) keep crashing when I open more than one video in separate tabs or windows on YouTube or Hulu. The problem isn't consistent, but it does seem to happen when I have at least 7 or 8 tabs open at once. Can anyone help me solve this? [more inside]

I'd like to add captions to my YouTube videos and preferably not do it by hand. YouTube recommends this software but I have a Mac. Is there something free or cheap I can use? Any other tips? Thanks.

Can you set up an apple script or use quicksilver or find a way to automate using iMovie to convert a bunch of .avi movie clips to a smaller size so they can be uploaded on YouTube. [more inside]
