Looking for outstanding examples of animations and videos that explain a difficult-to-understand concept or topic. Not KhanAcademy-type, but rather interactive Flash works or videos with 3D animation.

I've been having problems with YouTube over the last couple of days. Most of the time it works just fine, but it's freaked out a few times, and not worked for an hour or so, and then gotten better. Here's what happens: The pages looks like
this (YouTube homepage), and videos won't play (annoyingly enough, page-ads play just fine). It tells me that my Flash player isn't up to date, which it is. Other flash-things work just fine, including other video sharing websites. Google Chrome is my primary browser but the same thing happens in Firefox. I've asked around and no one I know has had the same problem. What is wrong and how can I fix it?

The latest versions of Firefox
and Safari that can run on my Mac Intel G4 tower (OS X 10.4.11) keep crashing when I open more than one video in separate tabs or windows on YouTube or Hulu. The problem isn't consistent, but it does seem to happen when I have at least 7 or 8 tabs open at once. Can anyone help me solve this?

Firefox / Flash-filter: Currently, I'm running one of the last versions of Firefox 2.0 (2.0.0.20). I haven't upgraded to 3 yet, but I think I'm just about ready (well, YouTube is forcing me). I have a few concerns before I do...

I recently started making animated movies in flash. When I upload them to Youtube or Google video, the audio translates well but the video becomes very jerky. I assume its a byproduct of the way they compress the files, but is there a way to avoid this?

Why has Youtube started plaing in Flash?
I am on a dialup, so if there is anything I want to see, I know it is a matter of clicking, minimizing, and waiting a half hour to hit view again.
This morning, it started playing in flash mode, the little circle of dots going round, and even if I let it load all the way and hit watch again, its starts loading again.
My computer?, or just changes at YT?

Politically-incorrect-flash-conversion-filter: I'm trying to upload this
flash image (warning: audio, adolescent humor, and probably NSFW) to YouTube, and apparently I need to convert it to video first. All the available conversion utilities seem to be for Windows, and I'm OS X based. Ideas?

I'd like a Flash video player of my video podcast on the web site, and a high-quality (960x540 should work) video file in the podcast feed.
I'm currently using
WordPress and
PodPress to manage the feed and video. But I can see why some people who don't want to install QuickTime might not be able to see the show.

I set my Dad up with an old computer of mine. At the default Flash quality (High), this computer renders YouTube clips at about 1 frame/sec. When he manually switches the quality to Low, they are fine; but he has to do this manually every time. Is there a way to make
all Flash animations default to Low quality?

I am unable to play any videos on youtube. It tells me to download the latest Flash player, but when I do it just keeps repeating the same message. I have XP2 with IE7 beta, only using windows firewall, and security settings at default. Any ideas why?
