Borrowed Call of Duty 4, for the XBox 360, from a friend, and each time I try to play a message appears informing me that I need to insert the disc into an XBox 360, which is where it is. The message is static, and when trying to do anything with the controller, the DVD control overlay appears. What's going on here? Google searches point to some similar experiences, but not much in the way of solutions. The disc has been cleaned several times and while not in perfect shape is certainly not damaged beyond playability.

I have an old 17" Apple Cinema Display, a first generation Macbook and an Xbox 360. Explain to me as though I were a small child how I can use my ACD (if at all) 1) with my Macbook and 2) with my Xbox 360. I know that there are probably all kinds of adapters involved but I read some past threads and being not at all savvy couldn't really make heads or tails of any of it. I know the differences between the Xbox 360 Premium and Elite editions, but I cannot find anything about the size of downloads. How fast will I fill up a 20gb hard drive? Should I spring for the Elite and get the 120gb? Are the demos, movies, XBLA games, and TV shows going to fill 20gb in a week? Does anyone even use the downloads? Thanks!
