So when working out on a cross-trainer like this I usually watch some of my favorite TV shows on my Ipod Touch. Yeah, I know, gotta update to a bigger better stronger device soon ;-) To get me pumped up a little more or to make it through the last gruelling climb, I regularly switch to music videos. Cat Pee Cardio

Will exercising in a poorly ventilated basement near a cat's litterbox have any detrimental effects on my health or the quality of my workout? (Aside from the unpleasantness). Should I be worried about breathing heavily in this environment? Moderate-to-vigorous cardio (elliptical) plus heavy-ish weight training, about 30-40 minutes 5x per week.

Question about testosterone for a normal guy

My google-fu is failing me and I have a question about my testosterone level. I had a blood workup for a physical exam and they said normal range is .2-.8 (I forget the units); I am measured at .72. Is this test meaningful? I would think I would be a lot hairier and hornier than I am if I was close to the maximum of the normal range of blood testosterone level. [more inside]

A trainer at my gym recommended this workout and I'm not entirely sure it's safe or effective or the right one for me. I've itemized the routine below, but in short it involves both upper and lower body workout every day, Monday through Friday, three sets of 10 -12, with one muscle group off per day after what he considers the toughest exercise for that body part.
