Drumline music?

I need drumline music for my workouts! Outkast's "Bombs Over Baghdad" works like nothing else to get me pumped at the gym, the percussion is a big part of the reason why. It's kind of a marching band/drumline sound, and a good drumline gets me pumped when I happen to hear one. Where can I find more drumline music or hip hop with this sound?

Songs for the long haul.

Please help me be a superhero to my wife, who is in need of some specific music. My wife is currently training for a bike race and she is in desperate need of some consistently rythmic rock to push her through her workouts.

Unfortunately, my suggestions of Grindermans' 'No Pussy Blues', or Jeff Becks' 'Shape of Things' are not doin' it for her. Her current faves are 'Are you gonna be my girl' from Jet and Radioheads 'Bodysnatchers'.

So, I think she needs some guitar driven, not too hard (Think QOTSA), not too pop (think Franz Ferdinand), music that's gonna make her want to go!

Popular, Obscure, Indie, whatever. Any song suggestions would make my searching a whole lot easier and fulfilling. Thanks.

EYE OF THE TIGER!

Give me anything, anything else during any other time of the day, but for my workouts nothing seems to get me revved like cheesy, overdramatic, high-beat 80's pop-rock. Being entirely unfamiliar with this area, I have no idea where to start. Can anyone recommend songs or bands that follow this pattern? To give you an idea of my tastes, the few tracks I have are part of the My meager playlist is as follows (please don't laugh):
Europe - The Final Countdown
Jasper McVain - Revv Me Up (yes, Brock's workout song from the Venture Brothers)
Fire, Inc - Nowhere Fast (from Streets of Fire!)
Bonnie Tyler - Holding Out for a Hero

and of course it wouldn't be complete without:
Survivor - Eye of the Tiger

Does anyone have ideas for what to add to my playlist? Thank you!

workout tunes

Any tips for good tunes to bring to the gym? I'm currently doing a basic running program, only about 30 minutes at a time right now, but I like to mix up my music so I'm not listening to the same thing every day. I'm only using a small mp3 player that will hold 30 - 60 minutes of music, so I'm basically looking to make up 4 or 5 different playlists that I can upload before I go to the gym during the day. Atleast until I can get myself a shuffle or something, LOL.

Work out music suggestions

What do you listen to when you work out? I have been jogging a lot, and I am pretty tired of my music. I use playlists on my Ipod, and I don't listen to the same one every day, but my general taste lies in more down tempo music, so I have run out of good songs pretty quickly.

A sample playlist for me is:
Iggy Pop - Lust for Life
M.I.A. - Bucky Done Gone
Rise Against - Give it All
Gorrillaz - Feel Good Inc.
LCD Soundsystem - Jump Into the Fire
Outkast - B.O.B.
J.O.Y. - Sunplus
Monk - Kick out the Chairs
New Order - Krafty
Clipse - Young Boy

Slow songs with fast spurts (and vice versa)

What (preferably good) songs shift back and forth between fast and slow? I'm trying to put together an iPod playlist for a workout that goes back and forth between slow, steady jogging and spurts of sprinting. (Yeah, I know--I could just alternate slow songs and fast songs--but then the tempo would only shift every 3 minutes or so.) All genres are welcome, although I have a slight bias towards either jazz/swing or indie rock for this particular mix.
