Words for women. I’m trying to compose a huge list of descriptive words which are mainly applied to women. This is for a feminism project for a friend. Everything from chick, babe, angel, etc to dog, nag, mare, cow to lush, slut and slag. Can MeFites help me out by streaming words for about a minute, then postfixing it with age, nationality and sex. It's a word I've been using for a while in a ... you know ... "ironic postmodern" sort of a way, but really, I've got no idea what it means. The Google results plain confuse me, so I'm throwing this one out to the Ask Metafilter Posse. What does the word "postmodern" mean? What is postmodern literature? And finally, where do I go for examples? And ... please no laughing from the front of the class.
