Headlights won't turn on, any ideas?

Headlights won't turn on, any ideas? So I was driving this evening and people where flashing their headlights at me and when I pulled over I realized that my headlights were not on.

Everything else works on my car fine, but no headlights or high beams will turn on. Is there anything I can check before I take my car to the mechanic [i'm kind of poor these days]

My car is a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer, stock nothing fancy added to it.

thanks!

Xbox 360 won't connect, thus limiting my 'rocking out' time.

I've been using my Xbox 360 for almost a year without any networking problems. As of two days ago, it will not log into Xbox Live and the problem has gotten worse. I've been using the Xbox 360 on my network with an Apple AirPort Extreme (802.11n) and a cable internet connection without issue. On Thursday, I tried to get online and it wouldn't sign in - the network test failed on the MTU stage. I didn't have time to troubleshoot it then, so I waited until this morning. Now that I've been working with it, I tried swapping ethernet cables, power it off, along with my router and cable modem and such, now it won't even get an IP address. I even went so far as plug the 360 directly into the modem and restart the modem.

Is there a way to reset the 360 completely (and not lose my profile, downloaded content)? I'm certain that there is something on the 360 that is causing the problem. I've reset the 360 network settings to default, but they weren't change in the first place.

This is quite frustrating, please help. All logical attempts at remedying this have failed.

Google won't load in any web browser

Anything google related won't load in any web browser A couple of hours ago, google just stopped working on my computer. I can't get to any of the sites, google.com, google.co.jp, mail.google.com, etc. And any website that has a google search engine doesn't work, and sites with google ads take forever to load. I've done a virus scan and a spyware scan, nothing. I've reset the computer and the modem, nothing. I did a system restore, nothing. Cleared out all the cookies and cache files for all browsers, nothing.

I can ping google using command line, ping www.google.com and i can get to google through proxy sites. This is driving me crazy...Anyone have any idea what the problem is?

I'm using Windows XP with IE, firefox and opera. My ISP is just standard Leopalace, the free internet service at my apartment in Japan (there also isn't an Leonet customer service line, so....yea). I've also noticed that about a quarter of websites, mostly forums have slowed down as well, though my download rates are the same.

Thanks!

Sony Vaio won't boot. At all.

Sony Vaio VGN-B88GP (OS is XP) won't start. No little lights... just nothing. We've all established anthing Sony is garbage and it would be great if you would note this is not my question.

Now what I've read usually indicates ram issues and indicates 2 slots and a reset. I have 1 slot and appears to have no reset? (There's one on the CPU but you'd kinda have to take it out to poke it so we dismissed that?)

The week beforehand any start/restart was a pain. It would just sit on the 'loading your personal XP settings page'. After screwing around with it a bit it would start and everything else would be the same as usual.

And just to be clear when I say there's nothing - there is absolutely nothing!

What the fuck is it's problem?

iPod Shuffle Won't Charge

My iPod Shuffle just doesn't charge off my PC. I disabled the "Use iPod as an external drive" or whatever that option is so that the computer uses it like a Shuffle (which I assume means charge it).

Everything on the web talks about connecting it to a high power USB (i.e. not a USB port on a keyboard). But I'm connecting to the actual computer. Tried out every USB port as well. What's up?

One caveat, when I plug it into my work computer (which is a bit newer), it seems to charge.

The computer where the shuffle isn't charging is an AMD1600XP, 512DDR, 30Gig HD, running on a.. ah, so long ago, .. MSI motherboard. A good one at the time. Anyone have any fixes to this?
