Today was the first day the stimulus withholding showed up in my paycheck. I can't tell: is this additional $13 just a change in withholding, or is my annual income tax actually reduced by $400? If it's just another bullshit rebate, I do not want this money. Please advise. [more inside]

I am looking for a quality free fantasy football site that offers a live draft where I can adjust the drafting to allow each player to take 24 hours to pick. Essentially an email draft. AOL has one but I abhor AOL and will only use them as a last resort. I like Yahoo's fantasy football interface but they don't offer an email type draft.

Some new neighbors just moved into the flat above us. How do I reduce the noise of their constant stomping? Would asking them nicely render a solution? And more importantly, is there some stomping disorder in modern psychology that I should know about? Because their flat is the same size and layout as ours, which isn't that big at all (you can walk across the hall to the door in about 10 steps) and I am genuinely baffled at how much stomping can indeed be done in such a capacity.
There's a tv commercial that I can't get out of my head! I think it was for heartworm med. There's a little girl singing, "me and my dog. . ." It describes all of the fun things they do together. I think she was a redhead. It hasn't been on in a few years. Does anyone else remember this?

Would it make sense to go to school to become a vet technician or vet technologist first? I'm a little lost on how to get started with the whole thing.

A few months ago I told my long time girlfriend that I was planning on asking her to marry me in August. I felt pressured in to saying that at the time and I think it's time we go our separate ways. She has been working on the things that bother me and for the past month been altogether great. I am just not ready for marriage (excuse) and I think that in the long run I would not be happy in this relationship. I would feel too controlled, too restricted, and lonely. She is very sensitive and I'm afraid of what she might do if I break up with her, but I have to do something, it's August! She doesn't really have any close friends and is not close to her family. I'm it, really. I love her a lot and care about what happens to her, I just feel like I should probably move on. Any help? [more inside]

What is the rationale behind television shows (mostly older ones) and some movies listing the actors in the program in "groups"? Usually they list the main ones as "starring" or "costarring", but sometimes there's also some people that are "featured", and some go so far as to list someone at the end with a "With...". Something like "Special Guest Star" is obvious, but I'm curious as to the rules for how they pick who is a star, who is "featured", and who is barely a "with".
