I just moved into a large house where my Netgear router does not provide a strong wireless signal to the whole house. I tried buying a repeater but despite being a programmer, I am lousy with hardware and am not really grasping how to set it up, or whether it's even the right answer. Help!

I have a Linksys WCG200 cable modem/wireless router combo device. It sucks at wireless (and extensive Googling has indicated that's unfixable), but it's OK at everything else. Can I pick up a $30 wireless router, plug that into the device I have now, and use that without any loss of quality? Would I need any other devices? Would it just be easier to get a new stand-alone cable modem as well?

I have a home network created by a dual-band Airport Extreme router. I have Cat 6 running from the Airport Extreme to a faraway printer where the wireless signal does not reach. Can I use this cable and an older Airport Express to act as a print server and extend my wireless network? If not, is there another device that would provide this function?

How can I connect two wireless routers (Fonera first generation and Apple Airport Express) to a single cable modem through an ethernet hub to establish two separate networks? I am able to connect one or the other to the cable modem through the ethernet hub, but I cannot connect both. Both wireless routers have only a single ethernet port. I currently have Comcast as my ISP, if that helps.

What are the wireless ranges of the 802.11g radios in the following:
WRT54G
WRT610N
I specifically would like to know the range of each and does the WRT610N 802.11G radio have a greater range than the WRT54G 802.11G radio.
Not surprisingly, Linksys couldn't even help me.

Networking question: I have a wireless router (well, 2, actually, as I thought the old one was faulty so just bought a new one) but it can't see the outside world. If I plug my computer directly into the modem, I can use the internet. If I plug a router into the modem, it can't see the internet. (I can connect to the router via wireless or wired, but the router can't connect any further.) Any ideas what this might be?

I've two wireless connections on the same box. So, how does windows choose which one to use? Sort of related: I've a dotnet client/server application which is IP specific for its database (MYSQL) and two LAN connections on the same server (one for local, one for the internet). How do I force that application or database to use the right one (the local)?

I have been living in a small university town outside Prague in the Czech Republic since the summer. I am using my 2006 Apple MacBook MA254LL/A (running 10.5.5) to connect to the internet. However, I have experienced a lot of problems connecting to free wireless internet hotspots. My laptop takes a while to locate the network by scanning, and then either asks for a password or tells me the network is unavailable. I know that my Airport works fine elsewhere, and that the connection usually happens automatically. I will ask one of the workers at the store if there is a password, and the answer is always no. Moreover, I see PC users connecting to the internet without a problem. Does anyone know what the issue is with wireless networking on a Mac in the Czech Republic? [I would post this question to the Apple support forums, but it appears that their new accounts system is down]
