How long can I safely keep steamed chicken wings in the refrigerator before baking them? I'm following this amazing recipe which has you steam them for 10 minutes, dry in the refrigerator for an hour, then bake at 425° for 40 minutes.

Can I turn the hour in the refrigerator in to 4 hours? 12? 24? Can I put them in the freezer for an extended period of time (and if so, how would I properly thaw them) ?

Note that I'm asking about how the wings keep after being steamed, not before.

Why are chicken wings so differently sized?

OK, so I've been eating a lot of fried chicken parts (maybe that's a question for another time). Yesterday it was buffalo wings. Today, regular ol' fried chicken. Today I was eating the drumstick and I started to wonder why it was so much bigger than the drumsticks from the wings I had yesterday. I thought maybe the chickens are bigger? Or maybe they're a different kind of chicken? Or maybe it's something else? I obviously tried googling, but I couldn't come up with a good string of keywords. Is this really obvious and I'm missing it? Help please!

There's a wing place in town called 'Just Wing'n it' that has a wing sauce called "Hot Boston" that I crave. Im posting in hopes that someone who works / worked there can tell me how to make it.

My friends and I, all hot wings connoisseurs, would love to get our hands on the sauce that Cluck-u Chicken franchises use on their hot wings - specifically the nuclear, thermonuclear, and global sauces. Can anyone point us to a website that tells us what the magic ingredients are? Can any former employees tell us how the sauce is purchased? I'm guessing individual stores get it in powder form and then add water. Maybe someone would be nice enough to transcribe the list of ingredients? Also do Cluck-U locations add the sauce exclusively after making the wings?

What are your favourite failed flight inventions? I'm doing research for an article on failed flight inventions, and I'm looking for stories of fantastic failures (specifically from the 19th and 20th centuries, but if it's really great and earlier, I might include mention of it).

Franz Reichelt, The Flying Tailor, was my inspiration, and while I've been reading up on albatross machines and early gliders, I'm most interested in flying apparatus which was meant to be worn (like Reichelt's overcoat).

So what are your favourite failed flying inventions/books about failed flying inventions? Help me include the most obscure, outlandish, and intrepid inventions (and consequently feel sad that they didn't work and I'm stuck with walking).

Girl with burnt angel wings - what's the movie called?

Vaguely remembered movie filter: Girl is dressed as angel, running from a fire (house is burning down). Her wings are singed. She gets picked up by a cop (this happens right at the beginning of the movie). The rest of the movie goes back to tell the story of how she got there.
Any guesses as to what it could be?

Hawkman Car Decal

I keep seeing a weird decal on cars- it's a circle, maybe 8" diameter, with this weird hawk-man thing inside flexing its wings/arms and screaming. This is in Minneapolis- I don't know if this is purely local, or nationwide. Does anyone know what the hell it signifies? Is it some sort of hawkman army planning a violent revolt?
