My best friend and I are sake (rice wine) lovers. Not lovers, because he's a guy. And ugly. But he's a great guy and I'd like to buy him some top quality traditional sake and a set of cups and bottle. [more inside]

GiftBasketFilter: I've been tasked with prototyping a holiday-themed gift basket that a high-end car dealership will present to car buyers during the season. The contents of the baskets will be mostly wine and wine-related objects. I'm having difficulty coming up with a presentation that will be "classy" enough to satisfy the audience but easy enough to mass-produce. [more inside]

I would like to buy a bottle of port wine as a baby gift [per suggestion of AskMeFi] for some friends but I don't know anything about wine really. I'd like something that would be opened in about 20 years. Does anyone have a few suggestions of a bottle of port that would be suitable for this gift. Bonus points if avail at Costco.

Tokaj/Tokaji. I'm buying a gift for some friends who are Tokaj afficionados, and would love some recommendations for excellent Tokaj wines (ideally Hungarian or Czech rather than French/Italian Tokay or Tocai wines). They prefer the sweeter wines (5+ puttonyos) and it would be swell if I could find a 2001 vintage, as it's a 5th anniversary gift.

I'm looking to send a bottle of bubbly to some newlyweds in Hawaii (Maui), however they're not staying at a fancy resort with this kind of amenity, so I figured I'd send something directly to their cottage.
I'm looking for a site like wine.com (they don't ship to Hawaii) where you can buy a bottle online and ship it directly, or a winery who does the same thing.

So I've been struggling with the christmas present issue - What to get for my parents? I've decided on a Rabbit wine opener, but it has mixed reviews. Does anyone have this device or an equivalent wine tool?
