Win7: "Hibernate" Scheduled Task Runs Even When Missed

I have, to aid in not permitting myself to stay up too late, set Windows 7's Task Scheduler to automatically hibernate at a certain time in the evening that varies according to weekday. However, if I manually hibernate the system beforehand (i.e., go to sleep earlier than the deadline), when I wake it the next morning, it hibernates shortly thereafter. However, importantly, I do not have the "Run task as soon as a scheduled start is missed" checkbox turned on. I've seen this, but Richard's suggestion of only letting the task run after a certain idle period – I don't think it'd be suitable as I don't want activity (either mine or the computer's) to be able to push things past the deadline. Any ideas as to what I can do?

Software Licensing

I'm trying to start an internet cafe-type business and I'm having real trouble understanding how to properly license copies of Microsoft Office, as well as Adobe software (e.g. Photoshop). There's a further caveat, which is that customers will use thin clients to access virtualized PCs on a central server. [more inside]

Batch screenshot tool for Windows?

On the Mac, I love the application Paparazzi for taking full-page screenshots. For a project at work, I'm looking for a similar tool for Windows, or possibly a web service. Ideally, I would like something that has the ability to accept a text file of URLs (as Paparazzi does.) Does such a thing exist for Windows / on the web somewhere?

looking for start-menu commandline argument calculator

Command-line calculator: I used to have a calculator program I put in c:\windows\system that took arguments, so I could type "c 5+2" into the start menu on W7 and a popup with the answer (7) would appear. Anyone know the name? Not quite a command-line calculator, since I want to pass in arguments and get a returned single value via popup.

Minimalist Website or Windows Application for Facebook Status Updating?

Does anyone know of a somewhat minimalist Windows program (or perhaps even a website) that would let me merely type a Facebook status update with little distraction on the screen aside from a countdown of characters left -- a sort of WriteRoom or Q10 for updates, although it doesn't necessarily need to hide menu bars and taskbars and so on? Ideally an application I could bring up by clicking on a system tray update. I'm uninterested in Facebook notifications. Basically, I'm just looking for something that would let me quickly update my status with little visual distraction and then move on to whatever else I was doing at the time.

Help a Mac access music over the network stored on a Windows XP machine.

My wife just purchased a Macbook after using a Dell Mini 9 for several years. All of our music is on a WinXP server and shared out over the network. We want to keep it all on the server if possible. Importing the music into iTunes (over wifi) is slower and more painful than it is on the Windows machines, which I'm surprised about. [more inside]

"It's becoming critical, Captain. We can't handle it."

Picasa does everything thing I want in a light photo editor (cropping, highlight and shadow correction, roation (90 degree and free)) and browser except it does not support multiple computers using the same meta data. My fricken database has been corrupted again (apparently it doesn't handle 200K+ photos very well either) so I'm looking for an alternative that does support syncing between multiple computers and network storage.
