I have two laptops, an old XP machine with a dying power supply, and a new Windows 7 machine that could easily store the old XP harddrive. Can I clone the XP drive and make a dual boot system on the Windows 7 machine?

I'm reformatting my system and installing Windows 7 my computer this weekend, and I'd like tips, tricks, best practices and the like for setting up a new system. It's been a while since I've "refreshed" a system, and I feel rusty. And my RAM might be failing/faulty. More details inside.

I have a small simple 16 bit windows application that I need access to from a couple dozen Windows 7 64 bit computers. Unfortunately we lost some of the source code so recompiling it is not in the cards any time soon.
Is there a way I can host this app on something like Amazon AWS and give all these users access to run the app via a browser or some other method?
Installing VM lite or the windows virtual pc is not an option unfortunately. These users would need access to this program concurrently. The VMWare solutions are far too expensive and the VMLite product that might help we won't be out for some time.
Thank you for reading my post. Have a great one.

I'm looking for a good solution for syncing files across several computers with several users. Something like Windows Live Mesh, except I can't use that because several of the computers run Windows XP, which Mesh doesn't support.

My new laptop says it has two hard disk drives: OS (C:) with 31.7 gb free of 58.5 and Local Disk (D:) with 397gb free of 397. The C: drive has the whole Windows7 file structure in place with the users and the documents folders and the libraries, whereas the D: drive is totally empty. And all of the programs seem to default to put everything in the C: drive. Which doesn't seem to make any sense.
