Contesting a will

My mother recently died. I acted as her live-in carer, to varying degrees, over the last 11 years (mainly the last few years). Do I have a reasonable case upon which to contest the will's equal apportionment of the estate? [more inside]

Can a will, or similar document, supersede a deed? Please help.

YANML. Home was willed to three siblings, two daughters and a son. One daughter relinquished her share, leaving two siblings to own the home. Remaining daughter, in order to avoid paying taxes and insurance on property, had the home's deed changed into the brother's name ONLY. Can anyone, other than deed holder, make claim to the house. Where there's a will, there's an estate lawyer (Toronto recomendations sought)

Estate-lawyer-in-Toronto-filter. We need to make wills. We're just a couple with kids -- not much of an estate nor any complicated plans. (And we're apparently not any good at following through on the plan to write them up ourselves :-) Any lawyer recommendations? We're in South Riverdale if it makes any difference. (Feel free to plug yourself if you are one)
