I've replaced my wireless card, but my laptop still intermittently locks up. The problem occurs whether I'm running XP or Ubuntu, and disappears when I disable the wifi in bios.

I've just arrived in Spain and my iPhone wont access the internet even though it recognizes the hotel's WiFi network. My Apple Air laptop works just fine with this same wifi network. Why isn't my iphone enabling safari or email access on the iPhone? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Help extending a wireless network? I have a Time Capsule acting as my primary wifi base station. It's in the living room, attached to the only DSL line in the house. It has a great signal all over the house...except of course in my office, in the back room. Any good ideas how to extend the network back there? A few more details inside.

I came home yesterday to find that we've now got internet in our house - great. The only problem is, though I'm able to get a perfect signal in the sitting room, which is where the wireless router is situated, if I go the five metres or so from there to my bedroom, the connection rapidly deteriorates to the point that I can't even open Metafilter.
I'm running a Macbook with a fully-udated version of Tiger, so what gives?

Wondering if anyone has ideas about an intermittent connectivity problem. I've searched around but haven't found anything that quite fits my issue.
I have a Dell XPS Vista desktop. Most of the time, I get a perfectly fine connection, but maybe 15% of the time I can't connect.

How can I increase the range of my brand new Linksys WRT600N wireless router so that my wife's Dell Inspiron 1505 gets a better signal? My former router, a 3 year old Linksys model (WRT54G) seemed to send a much better signal, and I bought this new router thinking I'd see improvements a-plenty, but noooooo, and documentation is sorely lacking. Help! I really don't want to go back to the WRT54G, since surely this new router is more capable when set up properly, right?

I've decided to abandon '
plan A' and think it's best to connect my two houses using wifi because of electrical concerns. I've read through tons of past Askme and other threads on the internet about range boosting, repeaters, gain, antennas etc but I'm asking this question because I'm hoping that there's a kit someone can point me in the direction of that matches my needs!

I don't broadcast my wireless SSID - but, frustratingly, OSX 10.5 seems to forget my SSID, and often my password as well (WPA2 Personal.) Is this a simple setting in my router, or is OSX to blame, and can something be done to fix it?

I have a recently installed (upgraded) wireless network composed of 11 Cisco Aironet 1200 Access Points controlled by a Cisco 4400 WLC. The access points are running on the slim firmware, and are being controlled by the WLC. We are using the WLC to broadcast several different SSIDs from the access points, spanned across several different V-Lans
We are having massive intermittent connectivity problems.

One iPhone. One Zoom X6 ADSL Wireless Router. My Wi-Fi connection to my iPhone keeps dropping in and out. My laptop and workstation do not have any problems with the router, only my iPhone. I have tried to 'Forget the Network', 'Renew the Lease', reset the router, turn off / on Wi-Fi on the iPhone, etc. Too no avail. If I watch the Wifi settings on the iPhone, I can see the ip settings get set, and then disappear, and then set, and disappear again. What is happening here, and how can I fix it?
