Wi Fi access point problem

What does it mean that I must constantly re-boot my wi-fi access point in order to get an internet connection? My desktop is not on a wireless connection (it's wired directly from the router) and doesn't have this problem--only the laptops that are on wifi. In addiiton, I'll often have to reboot the laptops as well, even though I'm getting a "signal" but not internet connection. Do I need a new access point? Cable company (Time Warner) is of absolutely no help since it's not their equipment.

Explain the magic behinbd a Blackb erry

Why is my wife's Blackberry able to get the Net and do email when we
are not in a wi fi area? My daughter's laptop does not work when we are travelling unless we hit a wi fi zone, and yet my wife's Blackberry (given to her from her job) connects to the internet and can do email. How does Blackberry manage that? The answer is simple, I imagine. But not for me.

tourism and vegetarian food in Madison, WI

We are visiting Madison, Wisconsin at the end of this month. What are the must-see places? Where can two vegetarians find good food? This is a much needed and much overdue romantic vacation to get away from the jobs, phone and computers. We have a car so anything within a 2 hour radius is fair game. Primary interests include good vegetarian food, gardens, historic communities, and art museums. We also have an antipathy for crowded bars, pubs, clubs, and sporting events.

Madison WI area attractions

I'll be in the Madison/Hollandale area for a couple of days with my son and wife - besides Talieson and the usual attractions, are there any special less-known places to go, wander, etc.? (have been to Crane Foundation, Convention Center).

Dandy Style in St Paul

More clothing-related japery!
So I'm an English major and pretty queer for most things Victoriana, and have been desirous of obtaining some natty duds in the Dandy style for... years now. The problem is that I'm something of a failure at all this fashion stuff. I am just no good at it. I don't dress like a slob, but I have no idea how one would go about obtaining, you know, waistcoats. Especially at reasonable prices, since I really don't have all that much discretionary income.

So: enlighten me! Where do you find these sorts of things for real bargain-basement prices? If you have specific regional advice, I live in Madison, WI and have easy access to Minneapolis/St. Paul. Otherwise, specific ebay strategies might be helpful? I find browsing the listings tedious, and although I have bid on things occasionally, there's always someone willing to pay more than me. Are there other sites worth looking at for this sort of thing?

Thanks in advance!
