This post on the blue reminded me of a site i saw some time back. Essentially, you picked up to, I believe, three colors, and the app would find images all across the web that matched those colors.

I want to get a new rear wheel for my bike so I can swap it out when I put it on the indoor trainer and not wear out my current tires. How do I do this? Do I just need another wheel, another hub and another cassette?

I had to leave my bike at a rail station for a few days. When I picked it up again it felt funny on the way home, and a close inspection showed someone had swapped my rear wheel for another almost identical one. Can anyone familiar with bike theft explain what happened? It's not totally the same, but the rear cassette is identical, the tyre of the same good make but with a heavier tread. The original wasn't anything special - the stock Bontrager off a 6yo Trek 7.3 hybrid.

I have a all wheel drive vehicle. A number of years ago all four tires were replaced , they have never been rotated. Now the fronts will not pass inspection but the rears probably have about 40% of tread left. I understand that one can ruin the transfer case if one runs different sized tires on this and many other all wheel drives. I would like to buy two of the exact same tires, which are still available, and put those on the back and put the old tires on the front. Do you think that the difference in diameter between the new tires and the partially worn ones will cause a problem with the drive train?

This girl (20's) and myself (guy in my 20's) have been planning this trip for her to come visit me for some time. I go to an east coast graduate school and she goes to my old college in the Midwest. She wants to check out the school for graduate potential and we've been pretty close friends for a few years (we were in the same major, took many classes together, hung out frequently). The plan was for her to come here and sleep at my place.

Where can I find a super low-friction wheel with a ring around it and also a little generator? I am making one of those silly home-brew perpetual motion machines with magnets.

The scrollwheel-click has suddenly stopped working in Firefox. I don't recall making any changes in preferences, but all of a sudden, what used to open up links in new tabs, no longer does so. Instead wheel-clicking on a link does nothing. Any idea how to fix this problem? I feel like I'm browsing with one less finger! (Mac OSX.4.11, Firefox 2.0.0.11, Safari is unaffected by the problem.)

This car is a '97 Toyota and it was was functioning well when parked. It had a flat tire and has been parked in my driveway for three weeks. When I went to change the flat today, I could not get the wheel off. To be clear, the lug nuts all came of relatively easily, but the rim seems to be melded/rusted onto the axle. What do I do? Crowbar? Chisel? Dynamite?

What would an auto parts website call the flexible sheet of plastic bolted underneath the front corners of a car, just in front of the wheel well? It looks easy to replace, but I don't know how to go about getting a replacement.
