Kinetic 3, 15, was diagnosed with OCD and has been on Celexa for 7 years. Over the past few years, despite
working with a nutritionist, eating a healthy diet and getting lots of exercise, his weight has ballooned into the technically obese category. He's 5'5" and weighs over 155 lbs. Going to see prescribing psychiatrist next week to consider changing medications, looking for advice.
My son is a healthy, active kid. He runs, bikes, hikes, kayaks, swims. He eats colorful foods, a mostly vegetarian diet and very little in the way of bread, pasta, potatoes, junk food, ice cream, soda, etc. He's worked with a nutritionist who feels that his diet and portion sizes are fine and she thinks at this point, he needs to consider a medication change. I'd like to go to the prescribing doctor with some knowledge. [more inside]

I don't know how to feed myself anymore. Please help. I'm lactose-intolerant, anemic, and suffer from acid reflux disease (3 years and running). I've lost about 20 pounds in the last five years due to the reflux and a bout of depression. I'm also too insanely busy to cook, thanks to long workdays and hours spent on public transit, since I don't drive. Help me plan highly-caloric meals around my schedule, so I don't need to spend so much time eating. [more inside]
