You have an online store where customers pay in, say, monthly subscriptions. The customers are able to manage their account online. You also sell a few other items as one-offs via a webstore. None of this requires shipping as your customers pick up in person. What sorts of programs are you using? How do you deal with credit cards? What should this all cost? Any opinions about programs such as Member Assembler, CSAware, Farmigo or DeliveryBizPro?

I work at an internet store. When I look at the search terms used within our site's internal search engine there are a number of items and brands that are searched for, but with the words in reverse order. For example there are hundreds more searches for "Kanteen Klean" than there is for "Klean Kanteen". Likewise, there are many more searches for "curtain shower" and "case pencil" than there are for "shower curtain" or "pencil case". What is going on?

I'm opening a retail store that will sell CDs, books, photographs and other music-related collectibles. We hope to open a web store concurrently and have found a web designer. I'm looking for advice about point-of-sale systems for our store, and in addition we are interested in linking the inventory in our retail store to our inventory for our web store.
