Where is the website to test for the CMS of a website?

I have lost my bookmark! I am trying to find a website that gives information about a typed-in URL. Once you submitted the URL, it immediately returned technical information about the site. It might have been SEO related, but the most useful feature was that it was able to tell you the CMS the site was on (assuming it was a fairly commonly used CMS.) Does anyone know the site I am referring to?

Help Me Look Better in 2009

There's a website I saw once that shows a celebrity's outfit and then lists places where you can bargain alternatives to every part of the outfit. I bookmark every website I find obsessively, but, of course, not this one and now I want to upgrade my wardrobe for 2009. Does anyone know the website I mean?

Help my kid learn Spanish

Thanks to a love affair with Dora the Explorer, my six-year-old daughter is fascinated by Spanish. She's too old for Dora now and has moved onto Strawberry Shortcake, but not a day goes by without her demanding to know how to say various things in Spanish. My husband and I are happy to help with this, and will look up translations on our phones, but her questions are rapidly surpassing my intro-level Spanish skills. I'd like to find some child-oriented websites that will help her learn Spanish. [more inside]

Help me start my own ecommerce website.

I have an idea for a ecommerce web site. I am currently a web application developer, and I ran an ecommerce site for a few years so I have a great concept of the nuts and bolts. I just wanted to ask for help because I am likely to be weak on the business end and design end of things - I have no clue how to start a business or design an entire website from scratch - let alone do in part-time on top of a full-time job. What sites offer useful iPhone App listings & reviews?

The App store on the iPhone is so cluttered it's practically unbrowsable for me. Things are only a little bit better on the desktop version of iTunes. For the most part I've been finding cool applications as they are mentioned in some of the blogs I already read. Surely there are some websites out there that keep up a good overview of the best iPhone apps. What sites are you using to find good apps for the iPhone?

Are there any Canadian websites that sell designer replica handbags?

Like many, I like designer handbags...though not so much the price tag. Anyone know of a good website that sells good replicas that is based in Canada? There are some good American and International sites but I'm worried about getting hit with duty when it crosses the border. I'm close to Toronto but don't really want to go to Chinatown to search. Any suggestions?

Is offering up long blocks of academic web page content an inherently bad idea, ignoring ad revenue, bandwidth and clickthroughs?

Do longer articles on the web really have to be split up into small, bite-size pieces as most sites seem to prefer doing?
