I run a small website for a sport I enjoy and am passionate about - traffic is good (at least I'm happy) and in the last few weeks I've been starting to get some press coverage. All good so far... A PR company have asked me to submit a 'media pack' - I have no idea what that is, or what might be included in there - I have asked the contact, but I'm thinking I should try and get ahead of the game. Suggest a model for a money-making, or at least self-sufficient, website dedicated to a region or small city something like "Mayberry Online." Probably advertising driven, dedicated to news, events, listings, but with active forums for 'consumer gripes,' local politics, advice columns, restaurant reviews, arts, sports, health, pets & wildlife. Think 'city paper' or alternative press but online, with an active Craigslist component. Any thing like that out there? Suggestions on website design/creation/start-up consultants would be an added bonus. Links please to worthy existing sites that fit the bill. And, TIA

I need new business cards! In addition to my day job, I also am affiliated with several organizations and I am one of those hyper connected social media jerks who twitter, facebook, flickr and all that crap. I have my own domain name which is my full name .com My question is, how can I make one business card that can fill in for ALL of my organizations AND connect people to my social media profiles, perhaps integrating with info on a website, yet still be professional looking enough to hand out at conferences and the like without being self conscious?
