Dammit Jim, I'm a photographer, not a web designer!

I'm a professional (part-time) photographer--I know next to nothing about web hosting/design/whatever. I want to switch from having a portfolio/sales website through Zenfolio (with a custom domain name hosted by Dreamhost) to having a website totally hosted by Dreamhost (with Shootproof for portfolio/sales). How can I mess around with setting up a new site (probably a Wordpress site with one-click install on Dreamhost)--I need this to be easy) without breaking my old site before I'm ready to use a new one? Multimedia school?

Are there any universities/colleges/institutes that have an all-in-one program for video, photography, print and web design? My online searches have come up fruitless as most programs seem to be separated out. Location doesn't matter, nor does degree/diploma/certificate received. At the end of it I want to be able to shoot, light, edit, etc video and photos and understand and apply colour theory, typography, page layout, etc for print and web designs.

Professional photography website by an amateur

Hi guys, I would like to make my way as a photographer, and I know making a supemotherlovin' website is essential. I have seen a lot of professional photographers using flash based websites and I see they are rather stylish but often slow (although I understand it is partially necessary for copyright protection). What I would like to ask is: what is the quickest/easiest way for me to make a professional looking website? [more inside]

Best non-Flickr Collaborative Photo Sites?

Do you remember a global online photo project where individuals took pictures of themselves in their room? If it's still out there, I need to find it, as well as other examples of collaborative, possibly community-building blog-style photo sites that aren't Flickr. [more inside]
