Webcomics for kids

I'm looking for webcomics that are suitable for kids under the age of 10, preferably with simple easy to copy art. If it's regularly updated, that's awesome, but if you know of a few one-offs I'm interested in those too. Something like a comic version of Peep and the Big Wide World would be perfect.

Help me find some new webcomics to follow

With the welcome return of Hyperbole and a Half, I'm realizing that the comics folder in my RSS reader has dwindled over the past couple of years as several favorites have been retired (e.g. Mr. Wiggles) or near-retired (Achewood). Can you suggest some replacements? [more inside]

Comic flushing out those phonies who are only claiming to have been a reject so others will like them.

Several years ago I saw a webcomic about distinguishing between those who falsely claimed to be unpopular in high school from those who actually were. There was a young female narrator / investigator, maybe identified as the author of the comic but maybe not, who talked about interrogating friends and acquaintances to see how unpopular they really were. I think the last panel showed her writing in a note pad. Anybody remember this? Google is getting me nowhere. I may have stumbled across it by following a link from here, but more likely from a comment than a post.

Looking for specific comic strip regarding mens/women's approach to life.

Looking for a specific comic strip from an unknown (to me) source. The upshot is a woman calls her boyfriend/husband about her car not starting. Next panel is her fantasizing about him coming home and taking care of her during her troubles. Last panel shows him telling her tow truck is on the way, cab is on the way so she can get to work, and he has to rush to meeting. I think I first saw this linked from Reddit and vaguely recall someone mentioning it may be used in one of those relationship books (Men are from Mars type).

Tools/Resources for creating webcomics

Webcomics: If just about anybody can make one, what tools/resources would I need? I have a good mental picture of character design, but my hand drawing is hardly worth scanning, so I might as well do it all on my compy (Yes, XQ, you can try to talk me out of it). At least at first, it'll mostly be standing-around-swapping-punchlines, so nothing too complicated. So what's out there to make me a webtoonist?
