Is it possible to make a browser window and the background of web pages transparent but to leave the text and images opaque? This would be applied to all web pages viewed in the browser, not just for specific pages I am creating. I've looked at several plug-ins and applications that offer transparent browser windows, but nothing so far gives options for selecting colors to leave opaque. I essentially want something to act as a luma or chroma key for browser windows. I'm using OS X.

you know how you're sometimes forced to use internet explorer? and you know how sometimes you open a second window while waiting for Window #1 to load? and then when Window #1 is done loading, it automatically pops in front of Window #2 which you're now happily reading? is there anyway to
prevent Window #1 from popping forward?

How do I load a series of different URLs into different windows/tabs as fast as possible? The reason I ask is that a regular train ride I take stops for about 15 seconds at a station with wireless access. I'd like to load pages which I can then read for the rest of the trip but even opening new windows and launching bookmarks is manual and slow. Any ingenious ideas?
